One Exceptional Engine

The General Electric CF34-8 engine family has a proven track record, commonality benefits and years of experience in the field to help reduce ownership and operating costs.
The CF34-8C5 features a 5:1 bypass ratio and a thrust output of up to 14,510 lbf.
The CRJ Series is the only regional product in the 70-100 seat segment to offer a common engine. The engine can be interchanged between the CRJ Series family members and a single pool of engines can be maintained.
With the benefit of utilizing the same engine across CRJ1000, CRJ900, and CRJ700 in succession, the CF34-8C5 takes flexibility to a new level.
