Naibu Waziri wa Afya Dkt. Hamisi Kigwangala Akerwa na Kitendo cha Hospitali Binafsi Kumfanyia Vipimo vya Ziada Mgonjwa......Asema ni Matumizi Mabaya Ya Pesa

Serikali imepiga marufuku tabia ya baadhi ya hospitali au taasisi binafsi za afya kuwapima wagonjwa wanaotoka hospitali za Serikali vipimo ambavyo hawakuagizwa kuvipima na madaktari kutoka hospitali hizo kwani kufanya hivyo ni kuiongezea Serikali gharama  zisizo la lazima.

Tamko hilo limetolewa na Naibu  Waziri wa Afya, Maendeleo ya Jamii, Jinsia, Wazee na Watoto, Dkt. Hamisi  Kigwangala wakati alipofanya ziara ya kutembelea leo kwenye Taasisi ya Saratani ya Ocean Road iliyopo jijini Dares Salaam.

Waziri Kingwangala alitoa agizo hilo baada ya kukutana na mgonjwa ambaye alitakiwa kufanya kipimo cha MRI katika hospitali moja  ya binafsi jijini Dar es Salaam, lakini hospitali hiyo ilimpima mgonjwa huyo vipimo vingine ambayo havikupaswa kupimwa.

Alisema fedha zilizotumika kulipia vipimo hivyo vya ziada vingetumika kununulia dawa na vifaa tiba ambavyo vingetumika kuwahudumia wananchi wengi zaidi.

Aidha Naibu Waziri huyo aliwataka watendaji wa afya kutumia utaalamu  na ujuzi wao  kuaanda mipango ya kuweza kukabaliana na changamoto za sekta ya afya nchini.

“Ni lazima tutumia utaalamu tulioupata katika kupunguza shida  za watu katika sekta ya afya. Tumumie elimu tuliyoipata shuleni na vyuoni ili kuboresha maisha ya Watanzania na tumsaidie Rais John Pombe Mafuguli tusisubiri hadi tuambiwe tufanye nini,”alisisitiza.

Mgonjwa huyo  matibabu yake yanalipiwa na Mfuko wa Taifa wa Bima ya Afya (NHIF).
 
Kitendo cha hospitali hiyo kilionesha kumsikitisha Naibu Waziri huyo kwa kuwa fedha za Serikali ndizo zinazotumika kugharamia vipimo ambavyo, taasisi hiyo haikumwandikia mgonjwa huyo.

“ Hospitali hii imetumia nafasi hiyo ya kupima mgonjwa huyo vipimo ambayo hakuandikiwa na daktari aliyemwona katika taasisi hii. Chakushangaza baadhi ya vipimo ambayo amepimwa vipo katika taasisi hiyo. Hospitali hii imetumia vibaya mfumo wa mfuko huo kwa kumpima mgonjwa huyo vipimo vya ziada,"alisema Naibu Waziri Kigwangala.

 Aliwataka watendaji wa afya kuhakikisha wanawapeleka wagonjwa wanaotakiwa kupimwa vipimo vya MRI na CT- Scan katika Hospitali ya Taifa ya Muhimbili(MNH) kwa kuwa hospitali hiyo ina vifaa vya kisasa na vinafanya kazi  vizuri kwa gharama nafuu.  

 Naibu Waziri huyo aliagiza uongozi huo kusitisha malipo ya vipimo hivyo vya ziada kwa kushirikiana na mfumo huo wa NHIF.

“Sitisheni malipo ya vipimo vya ziada katika hospitali hiyo, mgonjwa ni wa taasisi hii anaingiliwa na taasisi nyingine kwa kupimwa vipimo vingine ambavyo havikupaswa kupimwa, hivi ni vijipu vidoovidogo vinatumbuliwa hapahapa,” alisema Waziri huyo.

 Katika ziara hiyo Naibu Waziri huyo alielezwa kwamba taasisi hiyo inakabiliwa na changamoto ya vipimo vya ugunduzi wa saratani na tiba ya satarani, dawa, ambapo alisema atashirikiana na uongozi ili kuweza kukabiliana na matatizo hayo.

Pia aliutaka uongozi wa taasisi hiyo na watendaji wa afya pamoja na wizara kufanya kazi kama timu ili kuweza kutatua changamoto zilizopo.
