Balozi Seif akabidhiwa nakala ya Taarifa ya Tume ya Taifa ya Uchaguzi (NEC) Tanzania

Makamu wa Pili wa Rais wa Zanzibar  Balozi Seif Ali Iddi amewahakikishia wananchi wote kwamba Zanzibar chini ya Serikali ya Mapinduzi ya Zanzibar itabakia kuwa ya amani na utulivu ili kuwapa nafasi wananchi wake waendelee na harakati zao za kimaisha kama kawaida.
 
Alisema Serikali kupitia vyombo vyake vya ulinzi na usalama kamwe haitakubali kuona amani iliyopo anatokea mtu au kikundi kinachojaribu kuichezea amani hiyo na kuhatarisha maisha ya watu.
 
Balozi Seif Ali Iddi alisema hayo wakati akizungumza na Makamishna na watendaji wa Tume ya Taifa ya Uchaguzi Tanzania (NEC) mara baada ya kupokea nakala ya Taarifa ya Tume ya Taifa ya Uchaguzi Tanzania kutoka kwa Mwenyekiti wa Tume hiyo  Jaji Staafu Mh. Daniel Lubuva.
 
Balozi Seif alisema uchaguzi wa Zanzibar kwa sasa umeshakamilika  kwa mujibu wa Katiba ya Zanzibar ya mwaka 1984 sura ya Tisa kifungu cha 118 iliyoipa mamlaka Tume ya Uchaguzi ya Zanzibar kuendesha uchaguzi bila ya kuchukuwa amri au maelekezo kutoka kwa mtu ye yote.
 
Alisema kazi iliyopo mbele kwa Wazanzibari na Watanzania kwa ujumla ni  kufanya kazi kwa juhudi na maarifa huku wakijianda kwa uchaguzi mwengine ifikapo mwaka 2020.
 
Makamu wa Pili wa Rais wa Zanzibar aliupongeza Uongozi na Watendaji wa Tume ya Taifa ya Uchaguzi Tanzania { NEC } kwa kazi kubwa na nzito ya kusimamia uchaguzi wa Rais wa Jamuhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania, Wabunge na Madiwani na kumalizika zoezi kwa salama na amani.
 
Mapema Mwenyekiti wa Tume ya Taifa ya Uchaguzi Tanzania Jaji Msaafu Mh. Daniel Lubuva alisema pamoja na jukumu la Tume hiyo kuendelea kusambaza Taarifa za Tume hiyo ya mwaka 2015 kwa Viongozi Wakuu lakini watendaji wake bado wana kazi ya kujiandaa na uchaguzi mwengine ujao wa Mwaka 2020.
 
Jaji Mstaafu Lubuva alisema sheria ya Kura ya Maoni nambari 11 ya Mwaka 2013 itaangaliwa upya kwa pamoja kati ya Watendaji wa Tume ya Taifa ya Uchaguzi Tanzania { NEC} na ile ya Uchaguzi ya Zanzibar { ZEC } ili kuona mapungufu yanayohitaji kufanyiwa marekebisho.
 
Alisema Kura ya Maoni itapigwa kama Katiba ya Jamuhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania ilivyofafanua baada ya pande hizo mbili kupitia  mapungufu hayo na baadaye kupendekeza mswaada wa marekebisho yatakayopelekwa Bungeni kwa hatua zaidi za kisheria.
 
Jaji Lubuva alifahamisha kwamba Kauli ya Rais wa Jamuhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania Dr. John Pombe Magufuli ya kuendeleza Kura ya Maoni itaondoa shaka kwa Watanzania waliokuwa wakifikiria kwamba zoezi hilo limefifia.
 

Mwenyekiti huyo wa Tume ya Taifa ya Uchaguzi Tanzania ameelezea faraja yake kutokana na uhusiano wa karibu wa kikazi uliopo kwa muda mrefu kati ya Tume anayoiongoza na ile Tume ya Uchaguzi ya Zanzibar (ZEC),
