DC MAKONDA KUONGOZA UPIMAJI WA MAGONGWA YA MOYO BURE VIWANJA VYA LEADERS CLUB JIJINI DAR, JANUARI 23

 Mkuu wa Wilaya ya Kinondoni, Paul Makonda (kulia), akizungumza katika mkutano na waandishi wa habari katika Ukumbi wa Taasisi ya Moyo ya Jakaya Kikwete Hospitali ya Taifa ya Muhimbili Dar es Salaam leo asubuhi wakati akitoa mwito kwa wananchi hasa wa Wilaya ya Kinondoni na maeneo mengine ya jiji la Dar es Salaam kujitokeza kwa wingi kupimwa maradhi ya moyo bure katiza zoezi litakalofanywa na madaktari kutoka taasisi hiyo litakalofanyika viwanja vya leaders kesho kutwa January 23, 2015. Kushoto ni Meneja wa Taasisi hiyo, Salome Kassanga na Kaimu Mkurugenzi wa Taasisi hiyo, Profesa Mohamed Janabi.

Meneja wa Taasisi hiyo, Salome Kassanga (kushoto), akimuelekeza jambo DC Makonda. Katikati ni Mkuu wa Idara ya Magonjwa ya Moyo wa Taasisi hiyo, Dk.Peter Kisenge.
Wanahabari kutoka vyombo mbalimbali wakichukua taarifa hiyo.



MKUU wa Wilaya ya Kinondoni, Paul Makonda kesho kutwa anatarajia kuongoza wananchi wa wilaya yake na wakazi wengine wa jiji la Dar es Salaam katika upimaji wa magonjwa ya moyo utakaofanywa bure na madaktari kutoka Taasisi  ya Moyo ya Jakaya Kikwete (JKCI),  katika viwanja vya Leaders Club. 

Upimaji huo utatoa fursa ya kubaini wagonjwa wa wilaya hiyo kwa kuwa wananchi wengi hawajui magonjwa ya moyo yanaweza pia kusababishwa na shinikizo la damu na ni chanzo kikubwa cha   magonjwa ya macho,upungufu wa nguvu za kiume, kiharusi, figo na kutokuzaa.
 
Akizungumza jijini Dar es Salaam leo asubuhi, Kaimu Mkurugenzi Mkuu wa Taasisi hiyo Profesa Mohamed Janabi alisema kutokana na umuhimu wa wananchi kujua afya zao na kupatiwa matibabu mapema kesho wataungana na Makonda katika kuwapatia vipimo wakazi wa kinondoni.
 
Alisema ugonjwa wa moyo ni hatari na asilimia kubwa ya wagonjwa hao wanatembea na kufanya kazi zao kwakuwa ugonjwa huo hauna dalili hivyo haja ya kila mmoja kupima na kujua afya yake ni muhimu.
 
“Pia wengi wanaougua shinikizo la damu hawajua wanaweza kuwa na magonjwa ya moyo na  kujikuta wakisababisha kuua figo,macho,nguvu za kiume,kuugua kiharusi na kukosa watoto upimaji huu ni hatua nzuri kwa wananchi wa kinondoni hivyo tumeridhia kuwapima na kuwapatia matibabu bure,”alisema.
 
Alisema taasisi hiyo itakuwa kamili katika kila sekta kesho kutwa viwanja vya Leaders Club ili wananchi wenye magonjwa yanayoshabihiana na moyo waweze kupewa tiba katika hospitali za wilaya hiyo ikiwemo Mwananyamala na wale walioathirika na ugonjwa wa moyo waweze kutibiwa Hospitali ya Taifa ya Muhimbili.
 
Profesa Janabi alisema pia watahakikisha madaktari wa ushauri wanatoa elimu ipasavyo juu ya kuepuka ugonjwa wa moyo na shinikizo la damu ambao hauna tiba na jinsi ya kuzingatia lishe.
 
“Ni muhimu kujua ongezeko la matumizi ya vyakula vya wanga kwa wingi pia ni hatari katika kuongeza uzito hivyo kusababisha shinikizo la damu,”alisema
 
Kwa upande wake Makonda aliwataka wananchi kuelewa kuwa ugonjwa wa moyo ni hatari na matibabu yake ni gharama hasa kwa wale wanaosafirishwa nje ya nchi hivyo ni vyema kuitumia fursa hiyo kesho.
 

Alisema serikali imeona haja ya kuboresha afya za wananchi ili kukuza uchumi na hatua hiyo ya kusaidia upimaji wa bure itapunguza hatari ya ugonjwa huo kwa watu wengi wanaopoteza maisha kila siku.
