Africa’s leading Mobile Devices maker, TECNO eyes brand presence in the Middle-east and South America markets with its first International launch

TECNO, Lagos – Leading smartphone and feature phone brand, TECNO refocuses its marketing strategy to capture the Middle-east and South American markets riding on market successes in Africa. TECNO Marketing and PR lead Attai Oguche confirmed reports of the brand’s dominant market share in six African markets namely: Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Cameroon on the sideline of TECNO’s maiden International launch at the Burj Khalifa towers, Dubai.  
 
“We are excited about the recent report that puts TECNO as Africa’s number one mobile brand; controlling an average 25.3% market share in all the major markets in the sub-Saharan region. Currently, Nigeria and Tanzania are our largest markets” says Attai Oguche.

Speaking at the launch of TECNO’s latest Phantom flagship, the TECNO Phantom 6, brand digital marketing manager TECNO Nigeria, Jesse Oguntimehin highlighted the key features of new Phantom 6 smartphone
 
“We are very proud to unveil the market’s slimmest smartphone with dual rear cameras, new TECNO Phantom 6 is only 7.05mm in its thickest area,” says Jesse Oguntimehin, TECNO digital marketing lead, Nigeria.

Speaking about the brand’s improved after-sales policies for mobile consumers in Nigeria, TECNO Marketing and Public relations manager, Attai Oguche said consumers can now enjoy thirteen (13) months warranty, 24 hours repair period, 15 days DAP free exchange and three-months insurance for broken screens on the new Phantom 6 Plus smartphone.
 
“We stay true to our ‘Experience More’ corporate mantra both in innovation and customer service. TECNO successes in markets hinge largely on adopting consumer feedbacks into our system to deliver tailored experiences for consumers across markets,” reiterates Attai.
 
 
A total of 32 different apps can be run simultaneously on the Phantom 6 Plus without it affecting its performance. Boasting 64GB inbuilt memory and 4GB RAM, the Phantom 6 Plus is praised by reviewers as one of the fastest smartphones in the market. TECNO Phantom 6 and 6 Plus also debuts the revolutionary fast charge technology of Type-C port.
 
“Type-C USB port allows for reversible plug orientation, fast charging and data transfer from Phantom 6 to other devices,” says Jesse Oguntimehin.
