WADAU WAHAMASISHWA KUWEKEZA TASNIA YA UONGEZAJI THAMANI MADINI

Serikali kupitia Wizara ya Nishati na Madini imetoa wito kwa wawekezaji wa ndani na nje katika  Sekta ya Madini kuwekeza katika kuanzisha  Vituo vya Uongezaji Thamani Madini ili kuendeleza fani hiyo kwa manufaa ya uchumi wa taifa.

Wito huo umetolewa leo jijini Arusha na Naibu Katibu Mkuu, Wizara ya Nishati na Madini anayeshughulikia Sekta ya Madini, Profesa James Mdoe wakati  wa Mahafali ya Pili katika fani za Ukataji na Unga’rishaji Madini ya Vito katika Kituo cha Jemolojia Tanzania (TGDC).

Profesa Mdoe amesema kuwa, uongezaji thamani madini unalenga kuongeza fursa za ajira, kwa Watanzania watakaofanya kazi katika vituo hivyo, ikiwemo pia kutoa fursa za wataalamu wa sekta hiyo kujiajiri na hivyo kuongeza mapato kwa Serikali jambo ambalo pia litasaidia kuongeza mchango wa sekta hiyo katika Pato la Taifa.

Ameongeza kuwa, Kituo hicho kina historia ya  ya pekee katika historia ya sekta ya Madini  kwa kuwa kimekuwa kituo cha kwanza na pekee kuanzishwa hapa nchini,  na kuongeza kuwa, uwepo wake ni kielelezo sahihi cha kazi za ubunifu na uongezaji thamani madini ya vito.
Naibu Katibu Mkuu wa Wizara ya Nishati na Madini, anayeshughulikia Sekta ya Madini, Profesa James Mdoe akiangalia madini mbalimbali kupitia kifaa kinachotumika kukuza mawe ya madini ili yaweze kuonekana vizuri ikiwemo kubaini kasoro . Kabla ya kutunuku vyeti Wahitimu 14 wa Mafunzo ya kunga’risha na kukata madini ya Vito, Prof. Msofe amepata fursa ya kuangalia bidhaa mbalimbali za mapambo zilizotengenezwa na wahitimu hao ikiwemo vifaa vinavyotumika wakati wa mafunzo. Anayemwonesha kushoto ni Mtumishi katika cha Jimolojia Tanzania, Salome Tilumanywa (kushoto). Wengine wa kwanza kulia ni Kaimu Mratibu wa Kituo hicho John Mushi, anayefuata ni Kamishna Msaidizi wa Madini anayeshughulikia masuala ya Uchumi na Biashara ya Madini, Salim Salim. 
Pia amesema kuwa, kuanzishwa kwa kituo hicho ni moja ya hatua za Serikali za kutimiza malengo yaliyomo katika Sera ya Madini ya Mwaka 2009 yenye lengo la kuongeza mchango wa Sekta ya Madini katika Pato la taifa na ajira kwa watanzania kupitia uongezaji thamani madini, ikiwa pamoja na mafunzo ua Jemomojia, ukataji na unga’rishaji wa madini ya vito , utengenezaji wa bidhaa za mapambo na uchongaji wa vinyago vya mawe.

Aidha, Profesa Msofe ametoa wito kwa Kampuni zinazofanya biashara ya madini ya vito na wadau wengine kuchangia maendeleo ya Kituo hicho ili kiwe kitovu cha kutoa Wataalamu wanaokidhi mahitaji ya tasnia ya madini ya vito nchini.

Akizungumzia zuio la mwaka 2010 la kusafirisha Tanzanite ghafi inayozidi gramu moja nje ya nchi, amesema lengo la zuio hilo ilikuwa ni kuhamasiaha ujenzi wa vituo , vyuo, taasisi na viwanda vya kuongeza thamani ya madini hayo nchini  na kuongeza kuwa, jambo hilo pia ndilo lililopelekea Serikali kwa kushirikiana na Benki ya Dunia kuanzisha kituo hicho.
Mmoja wa Walimu katika Kituo cha Jemolojia Tanzania (TGC), Ramadhan Haizer (kushoto) akimwonesha mfano wa mapambo ya vito ambayo Wahitimu wamepata mafunzo ya kutengeneza katika mikato mbalimbali katika fani za Unga’rishaji na uchongaji madini ya vito Naibu Katibu Mkuu wa Wizara ya Nishati na Madini, anayeshughulikia Sekta ya Madini, Profesa James (wa pili kushoto). Katikati ni Kaimu Kamishna wa Madini Tanzania, Mhandisi Ally Samaje.
Naibu Katibu Mkuu wa Wizara ya Nishati na Madini, anayeshughulikia Sekta ya Madini, Profesa James akiangalia madini ya vito yaliyokatwa katika maumbo mbalimbali kutoka kwa Baadhi ya Wahitimu wa Mafunzo ya Unga’rishaji na Ukataji wa Madini ya Vito katika Kituo cha Jemolojia Tanzania (TGC). 
Awali, akisoma risala kwa niaba ya wahitimu wa mafunzo hayo, Monica Laiton, amesema kuwa, mafunzo hayo  yamewapa  ujuzi wa kukata madini ya aina tofauti ikiwemo Tanzanite katika mikato mbalimbali na kuongeza kuwa, ujuzi  huo utawawezesha kuajiliwa au kujiajiri na  kuongeza kuwa, mafunzo hayo yamedhihirisha wazi kuwa, wanawake wanaweza kufanya kazi katika sekta hiyo tofauti na dhana iliyokuwepo awali kwamba shughuli za sekta hiyo zinafanywa na wanawake pekee.

Jumla ya Wahitimu 14 wamehitimu mafunzo hayo kwa muda wa miezi sita, ambapo walipata ufadhili   kupitia Kamati inayoandaa Maonesho ya Vito ya Arusha  (Arusha Gem Fair)  chini ya Mfuko wa kuendeleza Wanawake katika tasnia ya madini.  Maonesho ya Arusha huandaliwa Chama cha Wafanyabiashara wa Madini Tanzania (TAMIDA) kwa ushirikiano na Wizara ya Nashati na Madini. Mwaka huu maonesho hayo yatafanyika jijini Arusha katika Hotel ya Mount Meru kuanzia tarehe 19- 21, Aprili, 2016.
baadhi ya Wahitimu wa Mafunzo ya Ukataji na Unga’rishaji Madini ya Vito wakitumia mashine mbalimbali za Kuchonga katika maumbo mbalimbali na kungarisha madini ya Vito.
Wahitimu wa Mafunzo ya Ukataji na Unga’rishaji Madini ya Vito wakiwa wameshika mchoro wa umbo la Ramani ya Tanzania ambalo lililowekwa Madini ya aina katika maumbo mbalimbali kulingana aina za madini hayo yanavyopatikana katika maeneo mbalimbali nchini, ambapo wamemkabidhi Naibu Katibu Mkuu wa Wizara ya Nishati na Madini, Profesa James Mdoe ikiwa ni njia ya kuonesha ubunifu wao baada ya kuhitimu mafunzo.
