Profesa Mbarawa Akagua Athari Za Barabara Moro – Dodoma

Waziri wa Ujenzi, Uchukuzi na Mawasiliano Profesa Makame Mbarawa amemwagiza Meneja wa Wakala wa Barabara nchini (TANROADS), Mkoa wa Dodoma Eng. Leonard Chimagu kuhakikisha ukarabati wa barabara katika eneo la Kibaigwa unaanza jumapili.
Profesa Mbarawa ameyasema hayo alipokuwa akikagua athari za uharibifu wa barabara zilizosababishwa na mvua kubwa zinazoendelea kunyesha katika mikoa ya Iringa – Dodoma na kusababisha mafuriko yanayoharibu kingo za barabara.
 
“Hakikisheni Jumapili kazi ya ujenzi hapa inaanza na ikamilike kwa muda mfupi ili kutoathiri huduma ya usafiri katika barabara hiyo kutokana na umuhimu wake”, alisema Prof. Mbarawa.
 
Waziri Mbarawa amewataka TANROADS washirikiane na Kikosi cha Usalama Barabarani kudhibiti magari yanayoegeshwa katika maeneo yasiyo rasmi na hivyo kusababisha ajali na uharibifu wa barabara hususani katika maeneo ya Dumila mkoani Morogoro na Kibaigwa mkoani Dodoma.
 
Mapema Waziri Mbarawa alikagua ujenzi wa kingo za barabara unaoendelea katika eneo la Dumila mkoani Morogoro ambapo amemuagiza Meneja wa TANROADS mkoa wa Morogoro Eng. Dorothy Ntenga kuhakikisha ujenzi huo wa kudhibiti barabara na daraja la Dumila unakamilika kabla ya Februari 15 ili kukabiliana na mafuriko wakati wa mvua za masika zinazokaribia kuanza.
 
“Chimbeni mchanga kwenye mto ili kuwezesha maji kupita kwa urahisi na kuondoa tishio la mafuriko yanayo athiri daraja hilo wakati wa mvua za masika”, alisisitiza Waziri Mbarawa.
 
Naye Meneja wa TANROADS Mkoa wa Morogoro, Eng. Dorothy Ntenga amesema ili kudhibiti mafuriko katika eneo la Dumila juhudi zinaendelea kupunguza mchanga na hivyo kuwezesha kupita maji kwa urahisi.
 
Profesa Mbarawa alikuwa katika ziara ya kukagua athari za mafuriko katika barabara ya Morogoro-Dodoma ambapo maeneo ya Dumila na Kibaigwa yameathirika zaidi.


Imetolewa na;
 Kitengo cha Mawasiliano Serikalini, Wizara ya Ujenzi, Uchukuzi na Mawasiliano.
Mafundi wakiendelea na ujenzi wa kingo za barabara zilizo athiriwa na mvua zinazoendelea kunyesha katika mikoa ya Iringa na Dodoma na kusababisha uharibifu wa barabara katika eneo la Kibaigwa mkoani Dodoma.
Meneja wa Wakala wa Barabara (TANROADS), mkoa wa Dodoma Eng. Leornad Chimagu (kulia),akitoa maelezo kwa Waziri wa Ujenzi, Uchukuzi na Mawasiliano Profesa Makame Mbarawa kuhusu athari za mafuriko katika kingo za barabara ya Gairo-Dodoma eneo la Kibaigwa mkoani Dodoma.
Gari likipita sehemu iliyoathirika zaidi katika eneo la Kibaigwa barabara kuu ya Gairo-Dodoma.
