Ofisa Elimu msingi Chamwino amzaba vibao mwalimu

MWALIMU wa shule ya msingi Ikombolinga, Peter Emma, ameeleza masikitiko yake ya kudhalilishwa na  Ofisa Elimu wa shule za msingi, Mohammed Msongo, wilaya Chamwino kwa kumzaba makofi mbele za walimu wenzake.

Mwalimu Emma anasema udhalilishaji aliofanyiwa na Ofisa elimu huyo kwa kupigwa makofi mbele ya walimu wenzake unatokana na kuchelewa kufika katika semina ya mafunzo ya KKK licha ya kuwa mwalimu huyo alikuwa anatoka mbali na alikuwa hajalipwa fedha ya nauli.

Akielezea tukio hilo Mwalimu Emma amesema kwa mujibu wa ratiba ya mafunzo ambayo yalianza Januari 16, mwaka huu yalitakiwa kuanza saa mbili kamili lakini yeye na wenzake zaidi ya 20 walifika saa 2:40 asubuhi.

Akiendelea kuzungumza na waandishi wa habari mwalimu huyo amesema kwamba yeye na walimu wenzake waliochelewa  walimkuta ofisa elimu huyo na kuwazuia kuingia darasani kutokana na kuchelewa kwao.

Amesema Ofisa huyo aliendelea kuwakaripia na kuwataka waandike majina yao kwa malengo kwamba wasihudhurie mafunzo hayo KKK ambayo yalikuwa yanawahusu walimu wote wa darasa la  kwanza na la pili.

“Wakati najitetea kuwa tunatoka mbali na usafiri ni wa shida huku hatukuwa na fedha, ofisa elimu alinizaba makofi na kunisukuma ukutani.

“Kitendo hicho kweli kimeniumiza na kunidhalilisha sana hata hapa najifunza lakini sina amani natamani kurudi nyumbani.

“Tuliandika majina ya waliochelewa sijui tutalipwa au la maana tunatakiwa kulipwa Sh. 55,000 kwa kila siku na nauli lakini mpaka sasa hatujalipwa mimi sielewi kwa kweli nimefadhaika sana.

“Kama uongozi ni wa ubabe hivyo hakika kazi itakuwa ngumu sana kwani hali hii inavunja moyo,” amesema Mwalimu Emma.

Kwa upande wake Kaimu Mkurugenzi wa Chamwino, Richard Masimba alipotafutwa ofisini kwake amesema taarifa hizo hawana na watazifuatilia.

Masimba amesema ofisi haina taarifa ya mwalimu kupigwa vibao na kusukumwa ukutani na iwapo itathibitika hatua za kisheria na kinidhamu zitafanywa.

Mtuhumiwa wa tukio hilo, Ofisa Msongo, alipoulizwa alikana na kukataa katakata kuwa hajampiga kibao wala kumsukuma ukutani mwalimu huyo.

“Jumla ya walimu 348 wanapatiwa mafunzo kazini na mafunzo hayo ni kwa shule za msingi serikali 119.

“Ila ni kweli wapo walimu waliochelewa badala ya kufika saa 2:00 kama tulivyo kubaliana wao wamefika saa 2:40 hivyo walipoteza dakika 40 za kipindi.

“Kutokana na hali hiyo nililazimika kukaa na walimu wote waliochelewa yakiwa makundi mawili na kuwapa maelekezo ili wasiendelee kuchelewa kwani kwa kufanya hivyo hawawezi kufaidika na hayo masomo,” alijieleza Msongo.

Hata hivyo Msongo amesema siku ya tukio ambalo inadaiwa alimpiga mwalimu huyo alimshika shati kwa nyuma na kumvuta ikiwa ni hatua ya kutaka asijichanganye na kundi lingine lisilomuhusu lakini siyo kumpiga.

Kwa upande wake Katibu wa Chama cha Walimu (CWT), Wilaya ya Chamwino, James Puya amesema analaani vikali kitendo cha ofisa elimu msingi kumzaba mwalimu vibao.

“Kitendo hicho kinawafanya watumishi kukosa morali wa kufanya kazi kwa ufasaha na wakati mwingine kuhamishia hasira kwa watoto.

“Mimi nimepata taarifa za mwalimu kupigwa na nasema kama kiongozi wa CWT wilaya ya Chamwino kulikotokea hili tatizo naomba tume ya Haki za binadamu, Mkurugenzi na Utumishi kuingilia kati suala hili.


“Unyanyasaji huu usipokomeshwa haraka itakuwa mwendelezo wa viongozi wa ngazi ya juu kuwanyanyasa watumishi wa ngazi ya chini jambo ambalo ni hatari,” amesema Puya.
