Madereva 49 walipa faini kwa kutumia mfumo mpya maalum wa taarifa za kielekroniki jijini Dar es Salaam

Baadhi ya Askari jeshi la Polisi wa kikosi usalama barabarani wakiongozwa na Msaidizi wa meneja miradi ya Tehama ndani ya Jeshi la Polisi hilo, Inspekta Bakari Mwamgugu (kushoto) wakiwafuatilia taarifa za magari ambayo madereva wake wamekwisha fanya makosa mbalimbali wakati wa zoezi la ukaguzi na ulipaji wa faini mbalimbali jijini Dar es Salaam Januari 15 2016.
Msaidizi wa meneja miradi ya Tehama ndani ya Jeshi la Polisi Tanzania, Inspekta Bakari Mwamgugu akiweka alama ya kituo cha ukaguzi wakati mbele ya kamera maalum ya kuchukuwa taarifa za magari ambayo madereva wake wamekwisha fanya makosa mbalimbali wakati wa zoezi la ukaguzi na ulipaji wa faini mbalimbali jijini Dar es Salaam Januari 15 2016.
Polisi wa usalama barabarani Happy Kataraia na Msaidizi wa meneja miradi ya Tehama ndani ya Jeshi la Polisi Tanzania, Insp Bakari Mwamgugu wakiweka sawa kamera ya kuchukuwa taarifa za magari ambayo madereva wake wamekwisha fanya makosa mbalimbali wakati wa zoezi la ukaguzi na ulipaji wa faini mbalimbali jijini Dar es Salaam Januari 15 2016. 
 Na Mwandishi Wetu. 
  Kikosi cha Usalama Barabarani kimefanikiwa kuwalipisha faini madereva na wamiliki wa vyombo vya moto hususani magari kwa asilimia 49 kwa kutumia mfumo kutumia mfumo mpya maalum wa taarifa za kielekroniki jijini Dar es Salaam. 
Mfumo huo unasimamia sheria za usalama barabarani kwa njia ya kieletroniki sambamba na ukusanyaji wa tozo za makosa ya barabarani kwa njia ya kieletroniki. 
Kwa kutumia mfumo huo jeshi la polisi limefanikiwa kuyakamata magari ambayo yana makosa mbalimbali yakiwemo ya TRA na SUMATRA. Pia mfumo unatambua na kuwabaini wale wote ambao hawajalipia faini za makosa yao ya usalama barabarani Kwa kutumia kamera maalum ya kuwabaini..
Mkaguzi wa Polisi wa Kikosi hicho, Bakari Mwangungu alisema jana kuwa kwa kutumia mfumo huo huduma za usalama barabarani zimeendelea kuboreshwa na kufanikiwa kuwalipisha faini madereva na wamiliki wa magari waliokuwa na mtindo wa kukwepa ama kuchelewa kulipia faini hizo kwa wakati kwa mujibu wa sheria za usalama barabarani. 
Zaidi ya makosa 12,000 yamelipiwa faini kwa kutumia mfumo huo ambapo asilimia 51 hayajalipwa na zoezi la ukaguzi linaendelea kuhakikisha wale wote wenye makosa na wanaendelea kutenda makosa ya usalama barabarani wataendelea kuchukuliwa hatua ili kuhakikisha madereva wanaendelea kuwa na nidhamu na kujirekebisha ili kuongeza umakini wawapo barabarani. 
Alisema wananchi wanashindwa kuelewa swala la adhabu za makosa wa wanalipia nusu nusu na kwa kuwa mfumo autambui na hivyo kurudisha fedha kwa mlipaji mpaka atakapolipia kiasi kamili ndipo mfumo utamtambua na kumpatia risiti.  
Inspector Mwangungu amewatahadharisha wananchi kutokosea namba za kumbukumbu wafanyapo malipo ili kuepuka usumbufu utakaosabishwa na kurudishwa ama kukamilisha malipo ya faini zao. 
Ameongeza kwamba zoezi hilo ni endelevu na linasaidia kupunguza kero ya risiti kwani kwa kutumia mfumo wanazipata moja kwa moja kwenye mtandao. 
Pia amebainisha faida za mfumo huo kuwa ni pamoja na kuongeza wigo wa wananchi wa kutumia Tigo Pesa, Airtel Money na M-pesa ambapo amewatahadharisha kutosubiri mpaka muda wa siku saba za faini kupita ili kuepusha usumbufu wa kulipia faini pamoja na faini ya uchelewashaji wa malipo. 

Mfumo huo ulizinduliwa Disemba mwaka jana na umeonesha mafamanikio makubwa kwa kuongeza makusanyo ya malipo ya serikali pia kuwarahisishia wananchi kuepusha usumbufu wa kupewa risiti kama zamani ambapo ilibidi wakamilishe kwa kufiki vituo vya polisi.
