 Katibu Mkuu wa Wizara ya Nishati na Madini, Profesa Justin Ntalikwa akizungumza jambo wakati wa kikao cha utambulisho wa viongozi wapya wa Wizara. Kikao hicho kimeshirikisha Menejimenti ya Wizara, Taasisi zilizo chini ya Wizara zikiwemo Wakala wa Nishati Vijijini (REA), Shirika la Maendeleo ya Petroli la Tanzania (TPDC), Wakala wa Ukaguzi wa Madini (TMAA), Shirika la Umeme Nchini (TANESCO), Wakala wa Jiolojia Tanzania (GST), Shirika la Madini la Taifa (STAMICO), Chuo cha Madini Dodoma (MRI) na Mtendaji kutoka Shirika la Maendeleo la Taifa (NDC). Katikati ni Waziri wa Nishati na Madini, Profesa Sospeter Muhongo.
 Waziri wa Nishati na Madini, Profesa Sospeter Muhongo (katikati), akimsikiliza Naibu Katibu Mkuu Wizara ya Nishati na Madini anayeshughulikia masuala ya Madini, Profesa James Msofe wakati wa kikao cha utambulisho wa viongozi wapya Wizarani. Wengine kushoto ni Katibu Mkuu wa Wizara Profesa Justin Ntalikwa na Naibu Katibu Mkuu wa Wizara anayeshughulikia masuala ya Nishati, Dkt. Eng. Juliana Pallangyo.

 Mkurugenzi Msaidizi wa RasilimaliWatu, Caroline Musika akiongea jambo wakati wa kikao cha utambulisho wa viongozi wapya wa Wizara. Katikati ni Waziri wa Nishati na Madini, Profesa Sospeter Muhongo. Waziri wa Nishati na Madini, Profesa Muhongo amewataka Watendaji wa Wizara, Wakuu wa Taasisi zilizochini yake na watumishi wote kufanya kazi kwa bidii kuhakikisha kwamba sekta za Nishati na Madini zinakuwa na manufaa makubwa kwa Taifa ikiwemo mabadiliko kiuchumi kupitia sekta hizo.

Profesa Muhongo ameyasema hayo wakati wa kikao cha utambulisho wa viongozi wapya wa Wizara kilichoshirikisha Menejimenti ya Wizara, Taasisi zilizo chini yake zikiwemo Wakala wa Nishati Vijijini (REA), Shirika la Maendeleo ya Petroli la Tanzania (TPDC), Wakala wa Ukaguzi wa Madini (TMAA), Wakala wa Jiolojia Tanzania (GST), Shirika la Madini la Taifa (STAMICO), Chuo cha Madini Dodoma (MRI) na Watendaji kutoka Shirika la Maendeleo la Taifa (NDC).


“Ni lazima tujitume, hili ndio jukumu letu la kwanza. Wananchi wanataka umeme na wanataka mabadiliko kupitia sekta za nishati na madini. Tufanye kazi kwa umoja na uwazi kwasababu tumepewa fursa ya kuwatumikia wananchi hivyo ni lazima tubadilike na mabadiliko ni lazima. Asiyeweza kuendana na kasi ya awamu hii aondoke, hakuna atakayeonewa,” ameongeza Prof. Muhongo.

Prof Muhongo aliongeza kuwa, kutokana na uzoefu wa viongozi hao na watendaji wa Wizara na Taasisi anaamini kuwa yatakuwepo mabadiliko katika sekta hizo kutokana na sifa zao kitaaluma na kiutendaji. “Wananchi wana imani kubwa na uteuzi wetu na uwepo wetu katika wizara. Tufanye kazi kwa manufaa ya Taifa”, amesema prof. Muhongo
Kwa upande wake Katibu Mkuu wa Wizara, Profesa Justin Ntalikwa alieleza kuwa, uongozi huo unatarajia kufanya kazi kwa uadilifu na umakini na kuongeza kuwa, “ jukumu lililo mbele yetu ni kubwa tunahitaji kufanya kazi kwa bidii tukitumia uzoefu, wote kutekeleza majukumu yaliyo mbele yetu”,amesema Profesa Ntalikwa.
Naye, Naibu Katibu Mkuu anayeshughulikia masuala ya Madini, Profesa James Msofe, amesema kuwa, aanatarajia kujifunza kwa kasi kubwa majukumu yake ili kuweza kufikia matarajio ya wananchi na taifa.
