JKT yatoa siku 7 wabunge wachukue madawati yao


JESHI la Kujenga Taifa (JKT), limetoa siku saba kwa wabunge wa majimbo 18 yaliyopo ndani ya mikoa saba nchini kuhakikisha wanachukua madawati yao yaliyotengenezwa na jeshi hilo kabla ya Agosti 30, mwaka huu.

Madawati hayo 9,666 ni kati ya 30,000 ya awamu ya kwanza yaliyotengenezwa na jeshi hilo baada ya Ofisi ya Bunge kulipa zabuni ya kutengeneza madawati 60,000 kwa Sh bilioni tatu.

Akizungumza Dar es Salaam jana, Waziri wa Ulinzi na Jeshi la Kujenga Taifa (JWTZ), Dk Hussein Mwinyi, alisema jeshi hilo limelikabidhi Bunge madawati 30,000, lakini madawati 9,666 kati ya hayo hayajachuliwa.

Hata hivyo, alisema kulingana na mgawo ambao jeshi hilo lilikabidhiwa na Kamati ya Bunge, madawati hayo yaligawanywa katika majimbo ya mikoa tisa, lakini hadi sasa majimbo 18 katika mikoa saba hayajachukua madawati hayo.

Aliitaja mikoa iliyopo kwenye mgawo huo na idadi ya madawati kwenye mabano kuwa ni Tanga ( 6,444), Njombe (3,222), Iringa (3,790), Mbeya (3,759), Mbeya Songwe (3,222), Rukwa (1,611), Ruvuma (4,833), Unguja (3,200) na Pemba (1,800).

“Mpaka sasa madawati yaliyokwishachukuliwa ni 22,721, madawati 9,666 kati ya 30,000 yaliyokwishakamilika sawa na asilimia 30 hayajachukuliwa na majimbo husika. Tunawaomba wabunge husika waje kuyachukua kabla ya Agosti 30, vinginevyo tutaziomba mamlaka husika ziyagawe kwenye maeneo yenye mahitaji,” alisema.

Dk Mwinyi aliyataja majimbo na mikoa ambayo hadi sasa hayajachukua madawati hayo kuwa ni Tanga katika majimbo ya Kilindi na Pangani (1,611) na Njombe majimbo ya Makambako, Ludewa, Wanging’ombe na Makete (2,148).

Maeneo mengine ni Iringa katika majimbo ya Iringa Mjini, Mbeya Mjini na Mbeya Vijijini (91,611), Ruvuma Jimbo la Tunduru Kaskazini ( 537) na Mbeya katika majimbo ya Ileje, Kyela, Rungwe na Busokelo ( 2,148).

Mengine ni Songwe ( 537) na Kwela, Nkasi Kaskazini na Nkasi Kusini (Rukwa) (1,611). Kwa mujibu wa Dk Mwinyi, kutochukuliwa kwa madawati hayo kunasababisha kukosekana kwa nafasi ya kuweka madawati mengine yanayotengenezwa kwenye vituo mbalimbali vya JKT.

Pia, alisema yanapoendelea kubaki mahali hapo yanapigwa jua, kunyeshwa na kupungua ubora. Pamoja na hayo, alisema kuwa awamu ya pili ya madawati 30,000 inaendelea vyema kwa kuwa tayari madawati 20,000 yamekamilika na yanaweza kuchukuliwa na kugawanywa panapohusika.

Alisema, “madawati 10,000 yaliyobaki yatakamilika kabla ya Oktoba 30,000 kama ilivyopangwa na yatagawanywa katika majimbo 51”.

Aprili 11, mwaka huu, Bunge lilimkabidhi Dk Magufuli Sh bilioni sita ilizoziokoa kwa kubana matumizi katika maeneo mbalimbali kuanzia Julai hadi Desemba mwaka jana, ikiwemo posho, safari za nje na viburudisho, ambazo Rais aliagiza zitumike kununua madawati kwa kila jimbo.
