MAONESHO YA NNE YA MADINI YA KIMATAIFA ARUSHA GEM FAIR YAFUNGULIWA JIJINI ARUSHA

Mkuu wa wilaya ya Arusha, Fadhili Nkurlu (katikati) akikata utepe kuzindua  Maonesho ya Tano ya Vito- Arusha yaliyoanza jijini Arusha tarehe 19 hadi 21 Aprili, 2016. Wa kwanza kushoto ni Mwenyekiti wa Kamati ya Maandalizi ya Maonesho ya Vito Arusha (AGF), Peter Pereira, Wa Pili Kushoto ni Mwenyekiti wa Chama cha Wafanyabiashara wa Madini (TAMIDA), Sammy Mollel na wa Pili kulia ni Kaimu Kamishna wa Madini, Mhandisi Ally Samaje. 
Mkuu wa wilaya ya Arusha, Fadhili Nkurlu (wa kwanza kulia) akiwa katika banda la mdanyabiashara wa madini ya Vito, Bhadrash Pandit katika Maonesho ya Tano ya Vito- Arusha yaliyoanza jijini Arusha tarehe 19 na kumalizika Aprili 21, 2016. Kulia kwa Mkuu wa wilaya ni Kaimu Kamishna wa Madini, Mhandisi Ally Samaje.
Kamishna Msaidizi wa Madini, Kanda ya Kaskazini, Elias Kayandabila (kushoto), Kaimu Kamishna wa Madini, Mhandisi Ally Samaje (katikati) na Mkuu wa wilaya ya Arusha, Fadhili Nkurlu (kulia) wakiwa katika kikao na waandishi wa habari (hawapo pichani) wakati wa Ufunguzi wa Maonesho ya Vito ya Arusha yanayofanyika katika hoteli ya Mount Meru.
Baadhi ya madini ya Vito yanayopatikana katika Maonesho ya Tano ya Vito- Arusha yaliyoanza jijini Arusha tarehe 19 na kumalizika Aprili 21, 2016 katika Hoteli ya Mount Meru.
Mkuu wa wilaya ya Arusha,Fadhili Nkurlu akifungua maonesho ya kimataifa  ya madini ya Arusha Gem Fair kwa niaba ya Mkuu wa Mkoa wa Arusha,Felix  Ntibenda leo katika hoteli ya Mount Meru . 


Kaimu Kamishna wa Madini nchini,Mhandisi Ally Samaje akizungumza wakati wa ufunguzi wa maonesho hayo,alisistiza nia ya serikali kupambana na utoroshwaji wa madini nje ya nchi. 
Mwenyekiti wa kamati ya Arusha Gem Fair,Peter Pereira akitoa neno la utanguliza wakati wa ufunguzi wa maonesho ya madini yanayohudhuriwa na waoneshaji na wanunuzi zaidi ya 400 kutoka sehemu mbalimbali duniani. 
 Baadhi ya watumishi wa Wizara ya Nishati na Madini wakiwa kwenye maonesho ya madini jijini Arusha.

Imeelezwa kuwa, Serikali imepata mrabaha wa kiasi cha Shilingi milioni 301 kutokana na mauzo ya madini ya vito yenye thamani ya Shilingi bilioni 7.2 yaliyofanyika wakati wa Maonesho ya Nne ya Kimataifa ya Vito  yaliyofanyika jijini  Arusha mwaka 2015.

Hayo yameleezwa na Kaimu Kamishna wa Madini, Mhandisi Ally Samaje wakati akizungumza na waandishi wa habari katika ufunguzi wa Maonesho ya Tano ya Kimataifa ya  Vito-Arusha, yaliyoanza tarehe 19 Aprili na kuendelea hadi tarehe 21 Aprili, 2016.

Alieleza kuwa mrabaha huo uliokusanywa na Serikali unaonesha umuhimu wa maonesho hayo ambayo yanafanyika jijini Arusha kwa mara ya Tano huku lengo likiwa ni kuifanya Tanzania kuwa kitovu  cha madini ya vito Barani Afrika na hususan kuifanya Arusha kuwa kitovu cha madini hayo barani Afrika.

Alisema kuwa maonesho hayo yamekuwa yakiwakutanisha wanunuzi na wauzaji wa madini  ya Vito kutoka sehemu mbalimbali duniani ikiwemo Thailand, Marekani na India ambapo wauzaji wa madini hayo kutoka Tanzania, wakiwemo wachimbaji wadogo wanapata fursa ya kutanua wigo wa kibiashara kwa kuwa wanakutana na wanunuaji wa madini ya vito kutoka sehemu mbalimbali duniani.

“Ukiangalia Tanzania ina aina mbalimbali za madini ya vito lakini mengi yanapatikana Arusha. Sababu hii pia inapelekea kuifanya Arusha kuwa Kitovu cha madini ya vito nchini. Lakini pia, uwepo wa Maonesho haya unasaidia kuibua changamoto mbalimbali na kuzitafutia ufumbuzi kupitia mijadala mbalimbali inaofanyika wakati wa Maonesho kati ya viongozi wa Wizara na wadau wa madini ya Vito.

Vilevile, aliongeza kuwa Maonesho hayo yanafanyika ikiwa ni utekelezaji wa Sera ya Madini ya mwaka 2009 ambayo inaelekeza kuendeleza tasnia ya madini ya Vito na uwepo wa masoko kwa madini ya  vito yanayozalishwa nchini, hivyo Mhandisi Samaje aliwaasa watanzania kutumia fursa  hiyo na kujiweka katika fursa ya kufanya biashara ya madini ya vito.

Aidha, alisema kuwa, maonesho hayo pia yanalenga katika kuongeza thamani madini ya vito kwa kuhamasisha uanzishaji  wa vituo vya kukata na kunakshi madini nchini kabla hayajasafirishwa nje ili kuyafanya madini hayo kuwa na thamani kubwa zaidi.

Wakati huo huo, Kamishna Samaje aliwataka wafanyabiashara  na wachimbaji wa madini kuwa wazalendo kwa kuhakikisha wanafanya biashara na kuchimba  kwa kuzingatia sheria ya Madini ya mwaka 2010.

“Wapo watanzania wasio wazalendo, wamekuwa ndio chanzo cha utoroshaji madini kwa kushirikiana na watu kutoka nje ya nchi. Wapo pia wanaotorosha na kuficha uzalishaji, ukikamatwa unafanya shughuli hizo kinyume, madini yako yatakamatwa na kupigwa mnada na Serikali,” alisisitiza Mhandisi Samaje.

Akifungua Maonesho hayo, Mkuu wa Wilaya ya Arusha Fadhili Nkurlu, amesifu maonesho hayo kufanyika jijini Arusha na kueleza kuwa, yameileta Dunia jijini Arusha kutokana na idadi kubwa ya washiriki kutoka pande mbalimbali za dunia .

Aidha, amesema kuwa, uwepo wa maonesho hayo jijini Arusha kunachangia ukuaji  uchumi wa  Tanzania akitolea mfano wa maonesho yaliyofanyika mwaka 2015 na kiasi kilichokusanywa  wakati wa maonesho hayo.

Nkurlu, aliwataka wafanyabiashara na wauzaji wa madini ya vito kujikita zaidi katika uongezaji thamani madini hayo hapa hapa nchini kutokana na umuhimu wake katika sekta hiyo na kueleza kuwa, uongezaji thamani madini utawezesha kuyapandisha thamani madini yanayozalishwa nchini na serikali kupata kodi stahiki.

“Tunataka mapinduzi ya madini ya vito. Wafanyabiashara liangalieni kwa uzito suala la uongezaji thamani madini ili kuwezesha ukuaji uchumi, na kuzalisha ajira kupitia sekta hii,” alisema Nkurlu.


Maonesho ya Tano ya Vito ya Arusha yamehusisha takriban washiriki 900 huku 500 wakitoka nje ya nchi. Maonesho hayo yanakwenda sambamba na majadiliano ya namna ya kuboresha Sekta ya Madini, changamoto zake na namna ya kuzitatua.
