Tanzania yapokea msaada wa shilingi bilioni 116.4 kutoka Japan.

Serikali ya Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania imesaini hati mbili za makubaliano na Serikali ya Japan itakayoiwezesha Tanzania kupata kiasi Yen Bilioni 6 ambazo ni sawa na Sh. Bilioni 116.4 za Kitanzania.

Akizungumza na waandishi wa habari mara baada ya kusaini hati hizo, Katibu Mkuu Wizara ya Fedha na Mipango Dkt. Servacius Likwelile alisema mkataba wa kwanza utasaidia katika kukamilisha bajeti ya Serikali ya mwaka 2016/17.

Dkt. Likwelile alisema kuwa msaada huo unalenga kuweka mazingira rafiki ya kwa wafanyabiashara, kuboresha masoko na kuwezesha mazingira ya ushindani katika utengenezaji wa ajira nchini.

Mkataba wa pili  unahusu masuala ya kiufundi  yatakayotumika katika kufanya marekebisho ya mkataba uliosainiwa  Octoba 20, 1966, kwa kuzingatia sheria nyingi zimebadilika, kusainiwa kwa hati hiyo ya makubaliano itasaidia kutabadilisha baadhi ya vifungu vyenye jina Tanzania na kuweka Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania ili kujumuisha pande zote mbili za Muungano katika kutekeleza miradi ya maendeleo nchini.

Aidha, makubaliano hayo yatasaidia kubadilisha baadhi ya vipengele vya mkataba uliopita ikiwemo kipengele cha usambazaji wa madawa ili kuweza kukidhi mahitaji ya sasa ya wataalamu kutoka nchini Japan kuweza kuja kufanya kazi za kujitolea hapa nchini Tanzania.

Katibu Mkuu Dkt. Likwelile ameishukuru Serikali ya Japan na kusisitiza kuwa fedha hizo zitatumika kama ilivyopangwa ili kuweza kuwa na tija na kuwaletea maendeleo Watanzania.

Naye Balozi wa Japan nchini Tanzania Bw. Masaharu Yoshida amesema kuwa Serikali ya Japan ina imani kuwa ushirikiano uliopo baina ya nchi hizi mbili utasaidia kukuza maendeleo ya uchumi na kijamii.

Balozi Yoshida amesema kuwa Serikali ya Japani inaunga mkono juhudi za Serikali inayo ongozwa na Rais Dkt. John Magufuli katika masuala ya viwanda na mazingira mazuri yanayovutia wawekezaji  kuwekeza nchini Tanzania.



Adha Balozi Yoshida amesema kuwa Japan itaendelea kuwaleta vijana wanaojitolea katika sekta ya uchumii na ya kijamii jambo limekuwa likitekelezwa tangu mwaka 1969 ambapo hadi sasa idadi ya vijana hao wa kujitolea imefikia zaidi ya 1500.
