TANZANIA MWENYEJI MKUTANO WA JPC NA ZAMBIA.

Mkuu wa Kitengo cha Mawasiliano ya Serikali na Msemaji wa Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje, Ushirikiano wa Afrika Mashariki, Kikanda na Kimataifa, Bi. Mindi Kasiga akiwakaribisha wageni waalikwa ambao ni Viongozi na Maafisa wa Serikali za Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania na Zambia katika Mkutano wa Tume ya Kudumu ya Pamoja ya Ushirikiano kati ya Tanzania na Zambia (JPC) unaofanyika katika Ukumbi wa Mikutano wa Kimataifa wa Julius Nyerere kwa muda wa siku mbili kuanzia leo.
Mkurugenzi wa Idara ya Afrika katika Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje, Ushirikiano wa Afrika Mashariki, Kikanda na Kimataifa, Balozi Samuel Shelukindo akimkaribisha Naibu katibu Mkuu wa Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje, Ushirikiano wa Afrika Mashariki, Kikanda na Kimataifa, Mhe. Balozi Ramadhan Mwinyi hayupo pichani ili aweze kufanya ufunguzi wa Mkutano huo.
Naibu Katibu Mkuu wa Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje, Ushirikiano wa Afrika Mashariki, Kikanda na Kimataifa, Mhe. Balozi Ramadhan Mwinyi akifungua rasmi Mkutano wa JPC kati ya Tanzania na Zambia.
Kaimu Mkurugenzi wa Idara ya Ushirikiano wa Kimaendeleo na Mshirika ya Kimataifa, Bw. Sylvester Mundanda ambaye alimuwakilisha Katibu Mkuu wa Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje ya nchini Zambia akiwasilisha ujumbe wa Serikali ya Zambia katika mkutano huo.
Naibu Katibu Mkuu wa Wizara ya Mambo ya Ndani ya nchini Zambia, Bi. Angela Mulenga ambaye aliambatana na ujumbe wa maofisa walioiwakilisha Serikali ya Zambia katika Mkutano huo akijadili jambo na Bw. Sylvester Mundanda.

Sehemu ya maofisa wa Serikali ya Tanzania wakifuatilia Mkutano.
Serikali za Tanzania na Zambia zinakutana katika kikao cha siku mbili kujadili na kukubaliana maeneo ya ushirikiano ambayo watayasimamia kwa pamoja kwa lengo la kuongeza kasi ya maendeleo ya nchi hizo mbili. Kikao hicho kinachojulikana kama Tume ya Kudumu ya Pamoja ya Ushirikiano kati ya Tanzania na Zambia (JPC) kinafanyika kwenye Ukumbi wa Mikutano wa Kimataifa wa Julius Nyerere kuanzia leo.

Katika hotuba yake ya ufunguzi, Naibu Katibu Mkuu wa Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje, Ushirikiano wa Afrika Mashariki, Kikanda na Kimataifa, Balozi Ramadhan Muombwa Mwinyi alieleza kuwa uhusiano wa Tanzania na Zambia ni mzuri na kufanyika kwa kikao hicho ni uthibitisho dhahiri.

Aidha, Balozi Mwinyi alieleza kuwa kufanyika kwa kikao hicho kunatoa fursa kwa wajumbe kuchambua kwa pamoja hatua zilizofikiwa na changamoto zilizojitokeza katika utekelezaji wa maeneo yaliyoafikiwa wakati wa kikao cha 8 cha JPC kilichofanyika Lusaka Juni 2006. Maeneo hayo ni pamoja na biashara, viwanda, mawasiliano, uchukuzi, nishati, uhamiaji, kilimo, elimu, michezo, madini, utalii, maliasili na utamaduni.

“Haya ni baadhi ya maeneo ambayo nchi zote mbili zinayapa umuhimu mkubwa ili kuharakisha maendeleo ya pande zote mbili Katika majadiliano yetu tutalenga zaidi maeneo haya ili tubuni utaratibu mzuri wa kushirikiana katika utekelezaji kwa lengo la kuleta tija kwa nchi na wananchi wake”. Balozi Mwinyi alifafanua.

Kwa upande wake, Kaimu Mkurugenzi wa Idara ya Ushirikiano wa Kimaendeleo na Mashirika ya Kimataifa kutoka Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje ya Zambia, Bw, Sylevester Mundanda alieleza kuwa Tanzania na Zambia zimejaliwa kuwa na maliasili lukuki kama vile ardhi, madini, maji na wanyama pori, hivyo, endapo kama zitatumiwa vizuri zinaweza kubadilisha uchumi wa nchi hizo kwa ajili ya kuwaletea maisha bora wananchi wake.

Alisisitiza umuhimu wa kukubaliana maeneo machache ya kipaumbele na kuyawekea mikakati ya utekelezaji na ubunifu bila kusahau kujiwekea utaratibu wa kupima ufanisi kila baada ya muda.

Bw, Mundanda alihitimisha kwa kusema kuwa vikao vya JPC ni fursa nzuri kujadili changamoto za kiuchumi na kubuni mikakati ya pamoja kukabiliana nazo ili uchumi uweze kukua kwa faida ya wananchi wa pande zote.
