Serikali Yawalipa Makandarasi Bilioni 400.....Yawataka Waliosimamisha Kazi Warudi 'Site' Haraka


Waziri wa Ujenzi, Uchukuzi na Mawasiliano Prof. Makame Mbarawa amewataka Makandarasi waliosimamisha kazi za ujenzi wa barabara nchini kuendelea na ujenzi baada ya Serikali kuanza kuwalipa madai yao.

Akizungumza mara baada ya kukagua ujenzi wa barabara ya Magole-Turiani yenye urefu wa kilomita 48.6 Wilayani Mvomero Mkoani Morogoro, Prof. Mbarawa alisema tayari Serikali imeshalipa makandarasi mbalimbali nchini shilingi bilioni 400 na itaendelea kufanya hivyo ili kumaliza madeni yao kwa haraka.

“Hakikisheni mnarejea kazini na kuwapa mikataba ya ajira wafanyakazi wenu katika kipindi cha wiki mbili kuanzia sasa ili ujenzi wa barabara na madaraja ukamilike kwa mujibu wa mkataba na hivyo kuondoa usumbufu kwa watumiaji wa barabara hii”, alisema Prof Mbarawa.
 
Profesa Mbarawa amemhakikishia mkandarasi China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation anayejenga barabara ya Magole-Turiani kuwa tayari serikali imeshamlipa zaidi ya kiasi cha dola za kimarekani zaidi ya laki 735 na Shilingi za kitanzania zaidi ya Milioni 795 hivyo ni wakati wa kukamilisha ujenzi huo hususan sehemu za madaraja kabla ya mvua za masika kuaanza.

Akizungumza katika ukaguzi huo Mbunge wa Mvomero Mhe. Sadick Murad ameiomba Serikali kumalizia daraja la Diwale lenye urefu wa mita 75 ili liweze kupitika.

Katika hatua nyingine Waziri Prof. Mbarawa alikagua karakana ya ujenzi wa vichwa vya treni mjini Morogoro na kumtaka mkandarasi anayekarabati vichwa hivyo kufanya kazi hiyo kwa haraka na kutoa kazi nyingine kwa watanzania ili kuwajengea uwezo wa kazi hizo.
 
Amewataka wafanyakazi wa Shirika la Reli Tanzania (TRL) Kufanya kazi kwa ubunifu, uadilifu na uwazi ili kufufua hadhi ya Shirika hilo ambalo ni muhimu kwa uchumi wa nchi hii.

Alisema takribani asilimia 96 ya mizigo inayoshushwa katika Bandari ya Dar es salaam husafirishwa kwa njia ya barabara hivyo ni jukumu la TRL kuhakikisha inapata mizigo ya kutosha ya kusafirisha ili kupunguza mizigo hiyo kusafirishwa na barabara lakini kufufua uchumi wa TRL na taifa kwa ujumla.

“Fanyeni kazi kwa bidii, uwazi na kwa kushirikiana ili kujenga Shirika la Reli la kisasa lenye uwezo wa kujitegemea acheni vitendo vya hujuma na migomo vinavyoweza kudhoofisha shirika hili”, alisisitiza Prof. Mbarawa.

Naye Naibu Waziri wa Ujenzi,Uchukuzi na Mawasiliano Eng. Edwin Ngonyani alikemea vitendo vya wizi wa mafuta na kuhujumu Reli vinavyofanywa na watumishi wasio waaminifu na kuwataka kuwa wazalendo kwa nchi yao ili kuchochea kasi ya maendeleo.

Profesa Mbarawa alikuwa kwenye ziara ya kukagua utendaji wa taasisi zilizo chini ya Wizara Ujenzi,Uchukuzi na Mawasiliano ambapo alipata fursa ya kukagua ujenzi wa mizani ya kisasa ya Mikese na kituo cha mtandao wa mawasiliano ya simu vijijini ya Halotel unaosambazwa katika taasisi za Serikali ikiwemo Hospitali, Polisi, Mahakama na Shule hapa nchini.
