Waziri wa Ujenzi, Uchukuzi na Mawasiliano Prof. Makame  Mbarawa amewataka watendaji wa Shirika la Posta Tanzania na   Kampuni ya simu ya (TTCL) kufanya kazi kwa weledi na mtazamo  wa kibiashara  ili kuyaongezea mapato mashirika hayo na hivyo  kuendana na  mabadiliko ya sayansi na teknolojia yanaoyotokea nchini.
Akizungumza na wafanyakazi wa TTCL na POSTA mkoani Mwanza Prof. Mbarawa amesema kutokana na kukua kwa teknolojia ya mawasiliano duniani biashara simu na posta hivi sasa ina ushindani mkubwa unaohitaji mtazamo mpana wa kibiashara ili kukidhi mahitaji ya soko.
“Serikali inajitahidi kuisaidia TTCL na POSTA hivyo wekezeni vizuri kwenye data na uharaka wa utoaji huduma ili muweze kushindana kwenye soko na kukuza uchumi wa taasisi hizi muhimu kwa usitawi wa nchi”, amesema Prof Mbarawa.
Prof. Mbarawa amezitaka menejimenti za POSTA na TTCL kufanya kazi kwa uwazi na uadilifu ili malengo na mikakati ya taasisi hizo yafahamike kwa wafanyakazi wote na kuwezesha kujipima kama wanafikia malengo yaliyokusudiwa.
“Hakikisheni wafanyakazi wote wanaelewa malengo na mikakati ya tasisi zenu ili kazi ya kuyatekeleza ifanywe kwa umoja na ushirikiano”, amesisitiza Waziri Prof. Mbarawa.
Aidha, Waziri Prof. Mbarawa amesisitiza umuhimu wa wafanyakazi kuwa wadilifu na kuepuka kuwa mawakala wa mashirika mengine na hivyo kuihujumu Serikali.
“kuna watu ndani ya TTCL na POSTA ambao ni wazembe, wavivu na wanao hujumu Serikali tutawaondoa mara moja, Ni vema kubaki na wafanyakazi wachache waadilifu kuliko wengi wasiotimiza maelngo yaliyokusudiwa”, amefafanua Waziri Prof. Mbarawa
Naye Meneja wa TTCL mkoa wa Mwanza Bw. Johnbosco Kalista amemweleza Waziri Mbarawa kuwa wigo wa mtandao kutofikia walaji wengi, wateja kutolipa madeni kwa wakati na ulinzi na usalama wa miundombinu ya mawasiliano ni miongoni mwa changamoto zinazoikabili shirika hilo mkoani Mwanza.
Kwa upande wake Meneja wa POSTA mkoa wa Mwanza, Bw. Julius Chifungo amebainisha kuwa uchakavu wa barabara, maslahi yasiyokidhi ya wafanyakazi na uchakavu wa majengo ni miongoni mwa vikwazo vinavyoathiri utendaji kazi wa shirika hilo mkoani Mwanza.
Takribani masanduku elfu tisa yanasimamiwa na Shirika la Posta mkoani Mwanza katika ofisi zake kumi na moja na asilimia 96.8 hukodishwa na kuingizia shirika hilo faida, Wakati takriban wateja 45,041 wanahudumiwa na TTCL katika Mkoa wa Mwanza.
