Naibu Katibu Mkuu Wizara ya Maji na Umwagiliaji Mhandisi Emmanuel Kalobelo akitoka ndani ya moja ya tanki baada ya kukagua ukarabati wa matanki matatu eneo la Kimara yenye uwezo wa ujazo wa lita milioni 34. Aliyesimama juu ya tanki ni Mhandisi wa Mradi huo P. G. Rajan.

Nimeridhishwa na kasi ya ulazaji wa mabomba ya maji kutoka vyanzo vya Ruvu Chini na Ruvu Juu, ukarabati wa matanki na ujenzi wa matanki mapya ya maji kutokana na eneo dogo     lililobakia ili kukamilisha miradi na kuwapatia maji ya uhakika wakazi wa mikoa ya Dar es salaam na Pwani.
Kazi ya ulazaji wa bomba la  maji hadi  matanki  yaliyopo Chuo Kikuu cha Ardhi jijini Dar es salaam, lenye urefu wa km 55.5 ambalo linasafirisha maji kutoka chanzo cha Mtambo  wa Ruvu  Chini Bagamoyo mkoani Pwani imebakia km 1.1  ili kuwapatia maji ya uhakika wakazi wa mikoa hiyo.
Naibu Katibu Mkuu Wizara ya Maji na Umwagiliaji Mhandisi Emmanuel Kalobelo alitoa kauli hiyo alipofanya ziara ya kikazi ya siku moja mwishoni mwa wiki kukagua shughuli za upanuzi mitambo Ruvu Juu na Ruvu Chini, ulazaji wa mabomba na ukarabati wa matanki kazi ambayo inayosimamiwa na Mamlaka ya Maji Safi na Maji Taka Dar es Salaam (DAWASA).
“Jukumu la kuwapatia maji ya uhakia wakazi wa mikoa ya Pwani na Dar es salaam katika miradi yote miwili ya Ruvu Juu na Ruvu Chini ni kuhakikisha ukarabati wa matanki ya Kimara, ujenzi wa tanki jipya Kibamba na ulazaji wa bomba unakamilika kwa wakati” alisema Mhandisi Kalobelo.
Akifanya majumuisho baada ya kukagua kazi ya ukarabati wa matanki ya Kimara, ujenzi wa tanki jipya Kibamba na ulazaji wa bomba Ruvu Juu yanasukumwa kutoka chanzo cha maji cha Ruvu Darajani kupitia kwenye bomba hadi matanki yaliyopo Kimara, lenye urefu wa km 51 Mhandisi Kalobelo amemtahadharisha Mhandisi Mural Mohan wa kampuni ya Megha kutoka nchini India inyofanya kazi katika mradi huo  kuwa kulingana na taarifa za mamlaka ya hali ya hewa nchini mwaka huu kuna mvua nyingi, hivyo aongeze nguvu na kasi ya kulaza mabomba hasa maeneo ya mabondeni ili akamilishe mradi huo ndani ya mwezi wa tatu.
Mhandisi Kalobelo ameridhishwa na kasi ya makandarasi wanaojenga mradi huo baada ya kutembelea ukarabati wa matanki ya Kimara, ujenzi wa tanki jipya eneo la Kibamba, ulazaji wa bomba eneo la Kiluvya na upanuzi wa mitambo ya Ruvu Juu eneo la Ruvu Darajani. 
Kwa upande wake Mhandisi Mural Mohan wa kampuni ya Megha kutoka nchini India amemhakikishia Mhandisi Kalobelo kuwa watafanya kazi kwa weledi na kukamilisha kazi hiyo ndani ya muda uliopangwa ili kuwapatia wananchi wa mikoa ya Dar es salaama na Pwani huduma ya maji ya uhakika na kuondoa kero ya upatikanaji wa maji iliyowasumbua wananchi hao kwa muda mrefu.
Aidha,   baada ya kujionea kazi iliyofanywa kwenye mradi wa Ruvu Juu, Mhandisi Kalobelo alielekea kwenye chanzo cha maji cha Ruvu Chini kilichopo wilayani Bagamoyo mkoa wa Pwani ambapo alijionea mitambo mipya inavyofanya kazi ya kusafisha maji kabla ya kusafirishwa kwenda kwa watumiaji ambao ni wakazi wa mikoa ya Dar esa salaam na Pwani na kuhitimisha ziara yake eneo la Mbezi Beach ambapo kimebakia kipande cha km 1.1 kukamilisha kazi nzima ya ulazaji wa bomba.
Aidha, Mhandisi Kalobelo amewasihi wakazi wa maeneo yote ilipo au ilipopita miundombinu ya maji wailinde na kuitunza.
Pia ameziagiza mamlaka zinazohusika na ulinzi kufanya utaratibu wa kuwa na ulizi wa uhakika ili miradi hiyo inapozinduliwa na mitambo kuwashwa kuwe na uhakika wa miundombinu ya maji kuwa salama kwa kuwa uwekezaji uliofanyika umetumia ghrama kubwa za walipa kodi na washirika wengine wa maendeleo wenye nia njema ya kuboresha huduma za jamii ikiwemo maji.
Kwa upande wao Mkurugenzi wa Huduma za Ufundi (DAWASA) Romanus Mwang’ingo na Afisa Msimamizi wa Kituo cha uzalishaji maji Ruvu Chini kutoka Shirika la Majisafi na Majitaka Dar es salaam (DAWASCO) Tumaini Ndosi wamesema kuwa wako bega kwa bega na wakandarasi wanaofanya kazi katika miradi yote miwili ili kutekeleza ahadi na azma ya vingonzi nchi ya kuwapatia wakazi wa  jiji la Dar es salaam na mkoa Pwani maji ya uhakika waweze kujiletea maendeleo yao ikizingatiwa hakuna maisha bila maji.
Maeneo ambayo wakazi wake watanufaika na huduma ya maji ni kuanzia maeneo ya uwekezaji (EPZ) Bagamoyo, Chasimba, Buma, Zinga, Kerege na Mpiji mkoa wa Pwani.
Maeneo mengine yatakayonufaika na mradi huo kwa Mkoa wa Dar es salaam ni Bunju, Wazo, Salasala, Madale na Kinzudi Mbezi Juu, Goba, Kawe, Makongo, Mwenge, Msasani, Mikocheni, Mlalakua, Masaki, Sinza, kijitonyama, Manzese, Konondoni, Magomeni, Kigogo, Vingunguti, Buguruni, Kariakoo na Ilala kwa upande wa Ruvu Chini wakati Mtambo wa Ruvu Juu utawahakishia wakazi wa maeneo Mlandizi, Kibaha, Kibamba, Mbezi, Kimara, Ubungo, Kibangu, Makuburi pamoja na eneo lote la Tabata.
