Lowassa Aunga Mkono Maamuzi Ya CUF Kutoshiriki Uchaguzi Zanzibar


Ni dhahiri kuwa aliyekuwa mgombea urais kwa tiketi ya Chadema bado ana ndoto za kuwa rais wa Tanzania baada ya kurudia kauli yake ya kwenda Ikulu, lakini safari hii akisema chama hicho kitaingia Ikulu bila ya kumwaga damu.

Lowasa alisema hayo jana katika mkutano ulioandaliwa na Baraza la Wazee wa Chadema, tawi la Ubungo kwa ajili ya kumpongeza kwa ushupavu aliounyesha baada ya Uchaguzi Mkuu uliofanyika Oktoba 25 mwaka jana.

“Siku moja tutaingia Ikulu bila kumwaga damu. Msiwe na wasiwasi kwa sababu mimi, dunia na Watanzania wanafahamu kuwa tulishinda katika uchaguzi uliopita,” alisema Lowassa ambaye alikuwa Waziri Mkuu wa Serikali ya Awamu ya Nne kabla ya kujiuzulu.

Lowasa alisema ingawa ana uhakika kuwa matokeo ya Uchaguzi Mkuu uliopita yalichakachuliwa, aliweka mbele amani.

“Nawashukuru Watanzania kwa kunisikiliza, walikuwa wananisikiliza mimi tu baada ya uchaguzi. Ningeweza kuwaambia twende barabarani, sikufanya hivyo kwa sababu najua amani ni muhimu,” alisema.

Uchaguzi wa Zanzibar 
Waziri huyo mkuu wa zamani pia alizungumzia uamuzi wa Tume ya Uchaguzi ya Zanzibar (ZEC) kutangaza kurudiwa kwa uchaguzi wa rais, wawakilishi na madiwani Machi 20, akitahadharisha kuwa suala hilo linaweza kusababisha mpasuko.

“Hali ya Zanzibar isiposhughulikiwa kwa umakini na umahiri, italeta matatizo makubwa nchini,” alisema.

Alimtaka Rais John Magufuli, akiwa kiongozi wa Tanzania, kuchukua uamuzi na kuhakikisha suala la Zanzibar linatatuliwa.

Alisema UKAWA  inaunga mkono maamuzi ya  CUF kupinga uchaguzi huo kurudiwa kwa kuwa hakuna ushahidi wa kukiukwa kwa taratibu zozote za uchaguzi wa mwaka jana.

“Nashauri wakae chini wazungumze, kwa nini hili la sasa linashindikana wakati CUF walikubali Serikali ya Umoja wa Kitaifa (SUK) kwa miaka mitano?” alihoji.

Alisema amani ni jambo la muhimu na linatakiwa lipewe kipaumbele kabla ya uamuzi mwingine kufanyika.

Kuhusu mikakati ya kukiboresha chama, Lowassa, ambaye alipata kura milioni 6.07 na kushika nafasi ya pili nyuma ya Rais Magufuli aliyepata kura milioni 8.8, alisisitiza uamuzi wake wa kufanya ziara nchi nzima kuwashukuru Watanzania wote ambao walimpigia kura na ambao hawakumpigia.

Lowassa pia alizungumzia uhuru wa Tume ya Taifa ya Uchaguzi (NEC), akiituhumu kuwa inaendeshwa na chama tawala.

Alisema katika uchaguzi uliopita, NEC ilipotosha matokeo na kuharibu mchakato wa uchaguzi.

“NEC ilifanya mambo ya hovyo, walipaswa kufukuzwa, ni uongo kusema kuwa ipo huru,” alisema.

Awali, kabla ya Lowassa kusema hayo, mwenyekiti wa wazee hao wa Chadema, Enock Ngombale alisoma risala ambayo ilimpongeza kwa ushupavu aliounyesha kabla na baada ya uchaguzi.

Katika risala hiyo, Ngombale alisema Watanzania wanajua kuwa Lowasa alishinda uchaguzi, lakini walishangazwa na matokeo.

“Wewe ni kiongozi imara, shupavu na mahiri. Watanzania waliamini kuwa ulishinda lakini kilichofanyika ni uchakachuzi,” alidai.

Kadhalika, risala hiyo ilisema Serikali ya Rais Magufuli haifuati sheria na kanuni za utawala bora.

“Tumeona unyanyasaji mkubwa kwa wafanyabiashara, bomobomoa ambayo haifuati misingi ya haki za binadamu,” alisema.
