Serikali Yanunua Mashine Mpya Ya CT-Scan Katika Hospitali Ya Taifa Ya Muhimbili Yenye Uwezo Wa Hali Ya Juu

Serikali imenunua mashine  mpya ya CT-Scan yenye thamani ya  takriban dola  za Marekani milioni 1.7  yenye  uwezo wa hali ya juu kwa ajili ya kutoa huduma za uchunguzi wa magonjwa mbalimbali  katika Hospitali  ya Taifa ya Muhimbili(MNH) iliyopo jijini Dar es Salaam.

Ununuzi wa mashine hiyo, umefanyika kufuatia agizo la Rais  wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania Mhe. Dkt. John Pombe Magufuli aliyoifanya hivi karibuni ambapo aliutaka uongozi wa hospitali hiyo kuboresha huduma zake na kuhakikisha vifaa tiba na dawa   vinapatikana ili kuhakikisha Watanzania wanapata huduma bora za afya.

Hayo yamegundulika jana baada ya ziara ya Naibu  Waziri wa Afya, Maendeleo ya Jamii, Jinsia, Wazee na Watoto, Dkt. Hamisi  Kingwangala aliyoifanya jana katika hospitali hiyo, ambapo alitembea Idara ya  Magonjwa ya Dharura,Idara ya Mionzi,  sehemu  mpya ya wagonjwa waliopo chini ya ungalizi maalum(ICU), ambayo inafanyiwa ukarabati na wodi mojawapo.

Akizungumzia kuhusu mashine ya CT-Scan Mkuu wa Idara ya Mionzi, Dkt. Flora Lwakatare alisema mashine hiyo , iliyotengenezwa na kampuni ya  Siemens  mpya imefungwa siku mbili zilizopita na imeshaanza kufanya majaribio  kwa wagonjwa 26  tangu ilipofungwa.

 Dkt. Flora aliongeza kwamba mashine hiyo iko moja tu nchini na katika nchi za Afrika Mashariki nchi nyingine iliyonunua mashine hiyo ni Kenya katika Hospitali ya Aghakhan.

“ Mashine hii inatoa huduma za hali ya juu kwa magonjwa ya moyo, ubongo, tumbo, kifua na inauwezo wa kupima kifua na tumbo kwa sekunde sita,” alisema.

Akizungumzia kuhusu mashine hiyo Naibu Waziri huyo, alisema imenunuliwa kwa fedha za Serikali wala sio mkopo.

“Tunatarajia kununua mashine hii katika hospitali ya Dodoma na Mwanza,” alisema Waziri Kingwangala.

Kwa upande wake Kaimu Mkurugenzi wa MNH, Profesa Laurence   Maseru alisema mashine hiyo ina sahani 128 mara 2 ikilinganishwa na iliyokuwepo ambayo ilikuwa inatumia  sahani sita.

 Kwa upande wa mashine ya MRI alisema tangu ilipofanyiwa matengenezo makubwa Novemba 26, mwaka jana  hadi sasa imesha hudumia wagonjwa 560.

 Dkt. Kingwangala  alitembea katika Idara  cha huduma za dharura na kuangalia jinsi huduma zinavyotolewa, ambapo alielezwa na  Mkuu wa Idara ya Magonjwa ya Dharura Dkt. Juma Mfinaga kuwa huhudumia wastani wa wagonjwa 300 hadi 400 kwa siku na wanafanya kazi kwa kutumia mfumo maalum wa kompyuta bila kutumia karatasi.

Naibu Waziri huyo, mbali na kupongeza maboresho yaliyofanyika na huduma nzuri, alitoa maagizo kwa uongozi wa hospitali hiyo kuboresha huduma  zinazotolewa hospitalini hapo kuwa za kitaifa zaidi.

 Alitolea  mfano  huduma  kulipa kwa kuongeza vitanda na matumizi ya choo kimoja kila chumba ili kuweza kuvutia wateja.

 “Sisi tunaweza kufanya biashara kwa kuboresha huduma za kulipa ili zimpendeze na kuvutia wateja. Na fedha zitakazopatikana zitatumika kununua dawa , vifaa tiba na kuwapatia wafanyakazi motisha, "alisema.


Aliutaka uongozi huo pia kuhakikisha inawalipa wafanyakazi fedha za  malipo ya ziada kwa wakati ifikapo tarehe 25 ya mwezi unaofuata,kutumia mfumo wa kompyuta sehemu zote, kupunguza msongamno wa wagonjwa na kuwa wabunifu.
