RAIS MSTAAFU, DKT. KIKWETE AHANI MSIBA WA MKURUGENZI MKUU TAA



RAIS mstaafu wa awamu ya nne, Dkt. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, tarehe 19 Januari, 2016 alihani msiba wa aliyekuwa Mkurugenzi Mkuu wa Mamlaka ya Viwanja vya Ndege Tanzania (TAA), Mhandisi S.S. Suleiman aliyefariki wakati akifanya mazoezi ya kuogelea Tanganyika Swimminga Club maeneo ya Feri- Kigamboni- Dar es Salaam tarehe 18 Januari, 2016 alfajiri.

Rais Kikwete na mkewe, Mama Salma Kikwete waliwasili nyumbani kwa marehemu Upanga jana saa 10.30 jioni na kulakiwa na  mdogo wa marehemu, Mhandisi Nassir Said Suleiman na wanafamilia wengine akiwemo Naibu Waziri wa zamani wa Mawasiliano na Uchukuzi, Dk. Maua Daftari.

 Pia alilakiwa na viongozi wa TAA, Mkurugenzi wa Utawala na Rasilimali Watu (DHRA), Bw.  Laurent Mwigune, Mwanasheria Mkuu wa TAA, Wakili  Ramadhan Maleta na Meneja Mwandamizi wa Utawala na Raslimali Watu, Mohammed Ally.

Baada ya kulakiwa, alikwenda moja kwa moja kuweka saini katika kitabu cha maombolezo kisha kutoa mkono wa pole kwa wanafamilia, mdogo wa marehemu, Mhandisi Nassir, watoto wa marehemu, Mohammed, Said na Hossam, mama mzazi wa marehemu, ndugu, jamaa na marafiki na viongozi wa TAA.

 Katika rambirambi zake, Rais Mstaafu, Dkt. Kikwete alisema alipokea kwa mshituko mkubwa akiwa kijijini kwake Msoga, Chalinze, habari za kifo cha Mhandisi Suleiman na hakuamini hadi alipopata ujumbe rasmi wa simu baada ya kuulizia zaidi.

“Nilishtuka sana.Nilipata sms nikiwa kijijini kwangu Msoga jana (juzi). Baadaye nilipiga simu kuthibitisha, “ alisema.

“Suleiman alikuwa mwenzetu. Kafanya kazi kubwa, nzuri ya kujenga viwanja vya ndege. Nilitamani aishi muda mrefu aendelee kujenga viwanja lakini Mwenyezi Mungu ana mipango yake, Jengo jipya la abiria (TB III) alilojenga linakaribia kuisha lakini hatakuwepo tena kushuhudia ufunguzi wake, “ alisema Dkt. Kikwete.

Rais Kikwete alimwelezea marehemu kama mtu mweledi, mwenye uwezo mkubwa wa kazi uliomfanya amteue kuiongoza TAA yenye jukumu la kujenga, kuendesha na kusimamia viwanja 58 vinavyomilikiwa na Serikali Tanzania Bara.

Rais Kikwete pia aliiomba familia ipokee hukumu ya Mwenyezi Mungu kwani kifo chake ni mipango yake kwani kama ni kuogelea, marehemu Suleiman alikuwa stadi na siyo kwamba alikuwa ndio anajifunza ndio maana alizidiwa na maji.

Mkurugenzi wa Utawala na Raslimali Watu (DHRA), Bw. Mwigune alimweleza Rais Mstaafu, Dkt. Kikwete jinsi marehemu alivyopata ajali wakati akiogelea Tanganyika Swimming club, Kivukoni na kisha kuzidiwa na maji kabla ya kuokolewa na kukimbizwa Hospitali ya Agha Khan, Dar es Salaam.

Pia alimweleza kuwa Bodi ya Ushauri, Menejimenti na Wafanyakazi wa TAA wameguswa sana na msiba ule na akamshukuru Rais Mstaafu, Dkt. Kikwete na mkewe, Mama Salma kwa kuungana nao na familia ya marehemu katika kuomboleza msiba huo mkubwa kwa sekta ya usafiri wa anga.

Msemaji wa familia, Mhandisi Nassir alimshukuru Rais mstaafu huyo na mkewe kwa kuwatembelea na kuwapa maneno ya faraja.

Marehemu Mhandisi Suleiman alizikwa Jumatatu jioni katika makaburi ya Kisutu,. Dar es Salaam na Jumanne, tarehe 19, Januari hitma yake ilisomwa katika Msikiti wa Maamur, Upanga. Ameacha mjane na watoto watatu.Mungu ailaze Roho yake Mahali Pema Peponi, Amin.
