NAIBU WAZIRI FEDHA NA MIPANGO ATEMBELEA FORODHA YA TUNDUMA

Naibu Waziri wa Fedha na Mipango Mhe. Dkt. Ashatu Kijaji atembelea forodha ya Tunduma na kujionea utendaji kazi unavyofanyika pamoja na changamoto zinazowakabili. 

Akiongea na Kaimu Meneja Msaidizi wa Forodha ya Tunduma Bw. Majaliwa Ndungutu, Mhe. Dkt Kijaji alisema Mamlaka ya mapato Tanzania ina wajibu wa kukusanya mapato ipasavyo ili nchi iweze kusonga mbele.

Katika kuelezea majukumu ya Forodha ya Tunduma Bw. Majaliwa alisema kuwa kazi kubwa wanayoifanya ni kuwezesha mizigo inayosafirishwa kutoka bandari ya Dar es Salaam kwenda nchi ambazo ni (land locked country) kwa kuzifanyia ukaguzi na kuhakikisha kinachosafirishwa ndicho kilichopo kwenye makontena kulingana na nyaraka za mizigo husika.

Pamoja na jukumu hilo Bw. Majaliwa aliongeza kuwa kazi nyingine wanayoifanya ni kusafirisha mizigo ambayo inazalishwa hapa nchini na kupelekwa nchi za nje.

“Ili kuhakikisha kuwa mizigo inayosafirishwa inafika salama, lazima mizigo isafirishwe kwenye makontena. Na endapo mizigo inayoletwa hadi kwenye forodha na kushushwa kwa ajili ya kusafirishwa kwa magari ya mhusika ni lazima zoezi hilo lifanyike eneo la forodha na  kusimamiwa watendaji wa forodha” Alifafanua Bw. Majaliwa.

Mhe. Dkt. Kijaji alipokuwa akiongea na baadhi ya wasafirishaji wa mizigo, walimueleza changamoto kubwa wanayokabiliana nayo ni kukaa siku mbili kwenye eneo la forodha wakisubiri taratibu zikamilike ili waweze kuvusha mizigo yao. 

Kwa upande wa forodha tatizo kubwa lililopo ni miundombinu, “Eneo hili halina lani hivyo kupelekea magari ya mizigo kupita kwa shida sana hasa kipindi cha mvua na kusababisha magari kuharibika, hivyo ameiomba serikali iliangalie kwa karibu ili kutatua kero hiyo” Alisema Bw. Majaliwa. 

Kuhusu suala la vishoka Mhe. Dkt. Kijaji aliwasisitiza Mamlaka ya Mapato hasa walioko kwenye forodha kufanya jitihada za ziada kuhakikisha elimu ya mlipakodi inawafikia walengwa na itolewe kwa ngazi zote. Na kuwataka watumishi wa Mamlaka kuzingatia maadili katika utendaji kazi ili waweze kufikia lengo lililokusudiwa.
Naibu Waziri Fedha na Mipango Mhe. Dkt Ashatu Kijaji akifanya mazungumzo na dereva wa lori la mafuta (hayumo pichani) mara alipowasili forodha ya Tunduma.
